Brazilian Phone Number Generator

Generate Brazilian mobile and landline numbers with a valid area code (DDD) and pick the carrier, for test sign-ups. The numbers are fictional and follow Anatel's Brazilian numbering plan (+55).

Phone type

Because of number portability, the number comes from a range assigned to the chosen carrier, and the line may have moved to another one.

Pick type and carrier

Choose mobile or landline and select the carrier. Leave it on any carrier if it does not matter.

Set the area code

Choose a state or a specific DDD. States such as São Paulo and Paraná have several area codes, and the list only shows the ones the carrier serves.

Generate and set the format

Enter a quantity from 1 to 100 and the output format: formatted, digits only or with +55.

Copy or download

Copy a single number, the whole list, or download everything as a TXT file with one number per line.

What the Brazilian Phone Number Generator does

Carrier choice

Vivo, Claro, TIM, Algar and other Brazilian carriers with ranges assigned by Anatel. Every number comes from a range of the carrier you picked.

Valid DDD per state

The 67 area codes in force, grouped by state. The DDD always matches the prefix of the generated number.

Three output formats

(11) 91234-5678 for forms, 11912345678 for APIs and databases, +5511912345678 for fields that expect the country code.

Batch, copy and download

Generate up to 100 numbers at once, copy them one by one or all together, and download the list as TXT.

About phone numbers in Brazil

What does a Brazilian mobile number look like?

A mobile number has a 2-digit area code (DDD) and 9 digits. The first digit is always 9, and the other eight are the prefix and the end of the line. Example: +55 (11) 91234-5678.

What does a Brazilian landline number look like?

A landline has a 2-digit area code (DDD) and 8 digits that start with 2, 3, 4 or 5. Example: +55 (11) 3456-7890. Landlines do not carry the leading 9 of mobile numbers.

What does portability change?

Anatel assigns number ranges to carriers, but customers can take their line to another carrier and keep the number. So "a Vivo number" here means a number inside a range Anatel assigned to Vivo. No number tells you for sure which carrier currently holds the line.
